I was delighted to once again collaborate with Comedian Leonor Bethencourt to create a poster for her upcoming shows in August. We decided not to use any of the previous illustrations I had done for her, so I created a new illustration for the poster based on the storyline of the show, which is loosely based around the Rose of Tralee festival, and Zocorro being announced the winner. I couldn't let Mary Harney go though, so she is included in the line up of the roses.

For the programme for a new show by Zocorro, I drew a new 4 panel comic strip similar to the previous. This one was Leonor's idea, and related more closely to the story of her show. The story for this one is that Zocorro is at the Rose of Tralee festival - which she is obsessed by - and has a 'chat' with Ryan Tubridy. You can see the results.

This is another poster I was commissioned to produce by Leonor Bethencourt - better known as Zocorro - for an upcoming show in Dublin. I've also included images of some of the characters that I developed for Leonor to compliment aspects of her show, ie: Harnia, Bankbot, Ryunfair and of course, Zocorro.

Zocorro is a Dublin based comedian named Leonor Bethencourt. She commissioned me to create a poster and programme for her shows that took place during the Dublin Fringe Festival in Dublin in September 2009. For her show I created a comic-styled character of Zocorro who is battling to save us from various foes such as; Harnia: a megalomaniac beast who can zap hospitals to the ground with lasers from her eyes; Ruinair: an airborne shark determined to air travel unbearable, and Bankbot: a clumsy gold and silver plated robot that can suck every last penny from your pockets.

The show was a success and hopefully Zocorro will be making more appearances again soon
